Dereon by Beyonce for C&A. Beyonce is once again expanding and this time it's with C&A.

C&A has a special surprise for fashion buyers this Valentine’s Day: an exclusive collection labeled Deréon by Beyoncé for C&A, created by international superstar and entertainer Beyoncé. While she is certainly known the world over for her music, Beyoncé has also become a global style icon - gracing the stage, the movie set, and the red carpet in trendsetting fashion statements. She was able to accomplish this with the help of her mother, award-winning designer and celebrity stylist, Tina Knowles. Together in 2004, they co-founded their company, Beyond Productions and subsequently launched the House of Deréon, Deréon and Miss Tina fashion lines.

This exclusive collection, made for Brazil’s largest clothing retailer, is part of C&A’s Pop Fashion concept and was influenced by the casual day looks and the dresses Beyoncé likes to wear. “The collection was inspired by the theme of the ‘warrior goddess’ a sexy, yet empowered woman. There are form fitting silhouettes, sexy dresses and a lot of metal details to give the pieces a strong, but glamorous feel”, explains Beyoncé. Tailored blazers with padded shoulders, little black dresses, embroidered tops and shirts and bandage dresses are some of the highlights of this collection. The color black is the dominant color in the collection, complimented by nude, grey, white, purple and burgundy red. And all the pieces were made in a way to enhance the feminine silhouette. The collection launched in Brazilian C&A stores on May 27, 2010.
